JR. WIZARDS Summer Basketball Camps teach basketball fundamentals to campers ages 6-14 in a structured environment.  Daily station work will help players of all levels improve and learn the core values of the game from our experienced Jr. Wizards coaching staff.

TIME: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
AGES: Boys & Girls ages 6 through 14

  • January 1 to February 28: $325
  • After March 1: $350

  2. Option 2: Sign up for a payment plan (requires minimum $70 deposit, and requires a credit card to be saved to file).

REFUND POLICY: Registrations are refundable (minus a $70 non-refundable registration fee) through May 15, 2018.

TRANSPORTATION: Sorry, no transportation is provided. All campers must be dropped off and picked up.
LUNCH: Lunch is not provided with this program.
DISCOUNTS: A 10% sibling discount is automatically applied to the second child during registration. Note: both children must be registered together for the discount to show up.
Group discounting and bulk (multiple session) discounts are available. E-mail for more information.
WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable basketball apparel, basketball sneakers. Campers should also bring lunch, and a refillable water bottle.

It is recommended that participants leave valuables at home, as there will not be lockers available to campers.  Jr. Wizards are not responsible for lost items.

Who are the coaches?

The Jr. Wizards coaching staff is made up of experienced coaches from all levels, including high school, middle school and AAU coaches, current and former collegiate players/coaches, game officials, trainers and other basketball personnel.  All Jr. Wizards staff are subject to a rigorous screening process.

What if my son/daughter needs medication?

When is drop off and pick up?  Is there after-care / pre-care available?

AM drop off begins at 8:30 am.  Pick up is promptly at 3:00 pm.  Jr. Wizards reserve the right to administer a $50 late pick up charge to anyone who picks up later than 20 minutes after the designated pick up time.

Sorry, we do not offer Pre or Post Camp Care.

How are campers split up?

Campers are initially grouped by age, and by skill level after an initial evaluation period on the first day of camp.

Will any Wizards or Mystics players attend camp?

When possible, select Wizards and/or Mystics players will visit camp to interact with participants. Additionally, Wizards/Mystics coaches, staff, alumni, community ambassadors, and G-Wiz may also visit.  While we make every effort to secure active player visits to camp, appearances are not guaranteed and are subject to player availability and schedule.

What is your refund policy?

Any money paid towards tuition, minus the $70 non-refundable registration fee, are refundable through May 15, 2018.  All refund requests must be received in writing.  You can email 
Any refund request made after the May 15, 2018 deadline will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Do campers need to wear their Jr. Wizards jersey every day?

While it is not required that campers wear this jersey every day, it is recommended, as it makes game play and competitive drills easier. If you are unable to get the jersey washed each night, no worries; we will have pinnies available as well.

What games can I use the free ticket on?  Can parents purchase additional tickets?

The ticket voucher can be used towards a select number of Wizards home games.  Instructions on ticket redemption will be posted on the Jr. Wizards website and forwarded to registrants after the completion of your summer session.  Please expect this information in early fall.

Are scholarships available?

There are a select number of scholarships available for worthy candidates.  Information on our 2018 Scholarship program will be announced on November 28th.

Do you offer overnight camps?

No, but we are exploring the possibility of doing overnight sessions in the future.
